Our Courses

Format: Online, self-directed course that generally takes 3-5 hours to complete.

To give a general orientation to SEE Learning for educators interested in using the SEE learning curriculum, either individually or as part of a larger school-wide effort. Completion of SEE101 unlocks the full curriculum and authorizes educators to use the curriculum in their classrooms. Schools implementing SEE Learning on a larger scale may wish for additional preparation and support.

REGISTER

  • This is a single live two-three hour, one-time session held on Zoom, hosted by SEE Learning® facilitators. This single session provides a general overview of the SEE Learning® framework and program with a small amount of experiential content. The course explores SEE Learning through the lens of compassion and resilience.
  • Prerequisites: All participants should have completed SEE 101 first. Organizers should contact SEE Learning India at contactus@seelearningindia.com
  • Size: 80-90
  • Target Audience: K-12 educators and general interest
  • Standard Fee: No cost to participate

 

  • Eligible to implement formal “supported SEE Learning” in classrooms after meeting implementation guidelines and structure as demonstrated in the workshops.
  • Not eligible to participate in any SEE Learning evaluation research

REGISTER

  • This is an educator preparation workshop that consists of three (3) two-hour sessions, held live via Zoom. It prepares educators to teach the content of chapters 1 and 2 of the curriculum (which amounts to 13 sessions, or generally about 3 months of content).
  • Prerequisites: All participants should have completed "Taste of SEE Learning”/ Orientation (online)" first. Organizers should contact SEE Learning India at contactus@seelearningindia.com
  • Size: 50-60
  • Target Audience: K-12 educators who will be implementing SEE Learning
  • Standard Fee: No cost to participate

 

  • Eligible to implement formal “supported SEE Learning” in classrooms after meeting implementation guidelines and structure as demonstrated in the workshops.
  • Not eligible to participate in any SEE Learning evaluation research

REGISTER

  • This is the standard 3-4 day educator preparation workshop for in-person training, consisting of three or four full days (6-8 hours per day), held live and in person. It prepares educators to teach the SEE Learning curriculum, and prepares schools and organizations to engage in full “supported” SEE Learning. Note: In-person educator workshops offered by SEE Learning India have been suspended temporarily due to COVID-19
  • Prerequisites: All participants should have completed SEE 101 first. Organizers should contact SEE Learning India at contactus@seelearningindia.com

  • Standard Fee:No cost to participate, however, venue and meals to be taken care by the hosting organization.

 

  • Authorised to teach SEE Learning to students in their classroom or home educational site
  • Eligible to implement formal “supported SEE Learning” institution-wide or school-wide after meeting implementation conditions set by SEE Learning India
  • Can orient peers in SEE Learning, but only within your own school or organisation
  • Refrain from conducting SEE Learning orientations for adult groups outside your school/org
  • Independent consultants must undergo Level 1facilitator certification before conducting orientations or trainings for other adults
  • Eligible to participate in SEE Learning Evaluation Research by Emory University and/or SEE Learning India after meeting implementation conditions set by SEE Learning India

REGISTER

  • Format: individual 1-2 hour sessions held live via Zoom.
  • Purpose: To support further training and implementation for schools that are engaged in implementing SEE Learning.
  • Prerequisites: All participants should have completed “Getting Started with SEE Learning.” A formal agreement, or MOU with SEE learning India.
  • Standard Size: Implementation team or all teachers engaged in implementation
  • Target Audience: K-12 educators who are implementing SEE Learning / SEL implementation team
  • Standard Fee: No cost to participate

REGISTER

  • These are regular 90-minute topic-focused sessions held live via Zoom intended to facilitate ongoing exploration of each chapter of the curriculum in a community setting.
  • Prerequisites: None
  • Standard Size: Unlimited
  • Target Audience: Any interested person. No prior experience with SEE Learning is necessary.
  • Standard Fee: No cost to participate

REGISTER

  • The SEE Learning facilitator certification course is a 7 month course delivered online, offered once annually. It prepares individuals to serve as certified facilitators who will offer SEE Learning® workshops and support SEE Learning® implementation in their regions
  • Prerequisites: 
  • Completed the 6-hour “Getting Started with SEE Learning” workshop OR the 4 Day Educator Prep Workshops (held in Delhi and Mumbai in February 2020).
  • Completed the SEE 101 online orientation. SEE 101 can be taken anytime and is accessible here.
  • We recommend that participants familiarize themselves with the SEE Learning Companion before the start of the course.
  • Started implementing SEE Learning (e.g. teaching SEE Learning in a classroom setting)
  • Experience in education, teacher training, contemplative practice or other relevant fields.

  • Standard Size: 120-160 individuals per year.
  • Target Audience: Individuals who are in a position to offer SEE Learning educator preparation workshops for educators in coordination with a SEE Learning affiliate
  • Standard Fee: No cost to participate

 

In addition to all the conditions of 4Day Educator Prep Workshop, Level 1 facilitators can:

  • Orient and support peers/adults within and outside your own school/org
  • All trainings and activities should be coordinated with SEE Learning India
  • Eligible to participate in SEE Learning evaluation research by Emory University and/or SEE Learning India after meeting implementation conditions set by SEE Learning India

REGISTER

  • These are intended to help build a Community of Practice (CoP) that will be led by educators
  • Purpose: To deepen their practice and share their learnings and insights
  • Prerequisites: Completed SEE Learning 101 and Taste of SEE Learning
  • Standard Size: 40-50
  • Standard Fee: No cost to participate

  • Revisit SEE learning practices and facilitation in the classroom
  • Format: 2 hour sessions held over 3 days, held on Zoom
  • Prerequisites: Completed in person 4 day Educator Prep Workshop
  • Standard size: 80-100
  • Target audience: K-12 educators who have completed the 4 day Educator Prep Workshop
